He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Brien and Ethel O'Brien; his brothers, James, Thomas and William; his sister-in-law Shirley; his niece Heidi O'Brien; and his nephews, Andrew O'Brien and Jason Hosmer.
He is survived by: his son Dennis O'Brien (Tracy); his grandchildren, Ashley (Spencer), Austin and Alison; his son Patrick O'Brien (Carmen); his grandchildren, Grace and Jack; his son Jeffrey O'Brien (Samantha); his grandchildren, Morgan and Stephen O'Brien; his children, Lucca and Matteo Correa Kniess; his siblings, Brian O'Brien (Patricia), Betty Retzke, Mary Hosmer (Ray), Sara Thomack (Andy), Robert O'Brien (Kathleen), Martin O'Brien (Rita), Joe O'Brien (Lori), Ann Warning (Mike), Ed O'Brien (Jenny), Peter O'Brien (Lorena), David O'Brien (Kim) and Bridget Wenman (Tom); and his close friends, Carol Zook and Daryl Lockwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
