She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schroeder and Sylvia Schroeder (Alft); her husband Walter "Butch" Gruel, Jr.; her son Steven Piotter; and her stepson William "Billy" Gruel.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Johnson (Ervin), Richard Piotter (Yvonne), Michael Piotter (Maria) and Eva Lozynski (Douglas); and her stepchildren, Suzann McClenahan (William), Steven Gruel (Ginny) and Robert Gruel (Beverly). She is also survived by many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
