He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gorman and Kathryn Gorman (Dempsey); his sisters, Mary Jane Sullivan (Bill) and Kathryn Frederick (Howard); and his brother-in-law Roger Leary.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Mansee; his daughter Joan Sprenger (David); and his sister Patricia Leary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
