She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Splitt and Erna Splitt (Genskow); and her siblings, Rosada Splitt, Elnora "Toots" Clifton (Harry), Deloris Beil (Eldred), Arla Kreklow (Forest) and Gerald Splitt (Rosella).

She is survived by: her husband James R Toonen.
