She was predeceased by: her parents, Manfred Augustin and Anni Augustin (Krispin); and her sister Monika Wolf. She is survived by: her husband Charles Smith; her daughters, Melanie Smith Wendlandt and Stephanie Smith; her sisters, Ute Rosera, Elke Tomaro and Ingrid Lorenz; her son-in-law William Wendlandt; and her brother-in-law Jeffrey Tomaro. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Hospital.
