He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Rayne of Madison and Ann Rayne (Todd) of Norfolk, VA; and his siblings, Virginia Brodell (Dan) and George (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Loomis Rayne; his sons, Christopher C. Rayne (Claudia Rayne), Peter L. Rayne (Natasha Rayne) and Steven T. Rayne; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Rayne (Anwar Bjyrd), Anne Rayne (Michael Daugherty), Tessa, Ben, Ellen Rayne, Fiona and Ellery Rayne; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Nyla, Avi, Apollo Bjyrd and Callan Daugherty.
