He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kurt and Eileen Kurt; his former wife Diane; and his brothers, Tom and James.
He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Ron (Katrina), Brian and Sherri; his granddaughter Adeline; his stepsons, Eric and Michael (Jonathan); his stepgrandchildren, Riley, Kailin, Owen and Emerson; and his siblings, Joe, Louise and Ken. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
