He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Curtis Powell and June Adah Winkle (Alexander); and his brother John R. Winkle. He is survived by: his wife Carola K. Winkle (Croll); his daughters, Brenda Winkle and Rachelle Winkle-Wagner (Michael); his granddaughters, Mya Wilber, Eleanor and Abigail Winkle-Wagner; and his siblings, Kenneth W. Winkle (Anne) and Carolyn Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
