With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wesley E. Simmons of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Ann Simmons (Gruenhagen); his son Charles Simmons; his father Charles; his former wife Deloris Simmons; and his brother-in-law Alex Broeske.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Simmons, Susanne Simmons, Michelle "Mikki" Smith, Debra Simmons and Donald Simmons; his stepson Michael Gruenhagen (Sarah); his grandchildren, Haley Simmons, Phillip Smith, Savion Castro, Dontay Simmons, Beau Simmons and Logan Gruenhagen; his great grandchildren, Ahmani Smith and Aubree Smith; his sisters, Kay Simmons and Elizabeth Weaver (Bobby); and his friends, Comfort Keepers, Oak Park Place and Agrace HospiceCare. He is also survived by cousins; and nieces and nephews.
