With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil Gene Henning of Madison, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Henning and Eva Henning (Reynolds); his son Aaron Henning; his siblings, Carl Henning, Gerald Henning, Edith Luckey, Judith Norton and Ruth Henning; and his grandson Corbin Mathias.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Henning (Nowak); his children, Erika Mathias, Amy Drake (Rick) and Matthew Henning; his sister Marcia White (James); and his grandchildren, Jacob Mathias, Nicholas Drake, Logan Henning, Jordan Henning, Jaden Mathias and Breanna Drake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gunderson Fitchburg Funeral & Cremation Care (2950 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
