He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welch and Helen Welch (Leve); his brother Bill Welch (Pat); his parents-in-law, Gene and Marilyn Paulus; and his sister-in-law Karen Bowers.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Paulus; his son Ryan Welch (April); his stepdaughter Axa Jones (BJ); his grandchildren, Jennifer Welch, Keegan Welch, Nathan Jones and Jaden Jones; and his cousin Bill Leve. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Dane County Humane Society.
