He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Newman and Esther Newman (Erickson); and his siblings, Laura Jean Newman, Shirley Canovan (Bill), Donald, David, Earl (Carol), Ray, James and Bernard Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Russell; his brother Lee Newman (Nancy); his children, Mark Newman (Brenda Morris) and Jennifer Bielke; his grandchildren, Marissa, Natasha and Logan Beilke; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Newman and Robert Russell (Ruth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ryan Funeral Homes - Madison North (2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home (2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704).
