He was predeceased by: his parents, Berdeen Sobek and Myrl Sobek; his significant other Judy Sobek; his siblings, Ronnie Sobek and Nancy Brewer; his brother-in-law Bob Brewer (Robert Faust); and his daughter-in-law Patti Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Sobek, Mike Sobek, Theresa Mistele (John) and Kim Richmond (Dale); his siblings, Robert Sobek (Marlene) and Patty Downing (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Sobek and Richard McSherry (Jean). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
