He was predeceased by: his parents, MacLean M. Babcock and Fernelle Babcock (Allen); his brothers, James Babcock and MacLean Jack Babcock; his niece Barbara Greene; and his nephew Jack MacLean Babcock.

He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Thomas Babcock and Sara Lash (John); his grandchildren, Connor, Cassandra, Cameron Babcock, Sydney (Allyson Sawatzke), Heidi and Andrew Lash; his nephew Richard Babcock (Betsy); and his niece Catherine Waldo (James).

Memorials may be made to Wisconsin Public Radio, Agrace HospiceCare, Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired or the charity of your choice.
