He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scholze and Joan Scholze (Betthauser); his parents-in-law, Wayne McFadden (Sonia) and Eileen McFadden; and his pets, Madeleine, Baxter and Dinah.
He is survived by: his significant other Michael E. McFadden; his siblings, Susan Luchsinger (Dave), Richard (Jacki) and Tom Scholze (Susie); his brothers-in-law, Patrick (Sally), Brian (Joan Holcomb), Neil McFadden (Donna Petrusky) and Jeff Pirtle (Kathy); his niece Megan Pirtle; his friends, Jim Greco, Jane Richards, Ilmari Kivinen, Cameron Poole and Sue Schneider Lockwood; and also Lily. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
He worked for many years in health-related electronic data interchange at Wisconsin Physician Service, the UW Medical Foundation and Physicians Plus.
