He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham and Anna; and his siblings, Alex (Anne), Leo (Natalie) and Rose Michels (Julius).
He is survived by: his significant other Corlie; his children, Mark (Lora Wiggins), Michael (Kathy), Ruth (David Dobrofsky) and Amy Bogost (Gregg); his grandchildren, Rachael Blumenfeld (Barry Sherman), Andrew Blumenfeld, Allison Blumenfeld (Nick Nielson), Zachary Blumenfeld (Carly), Joshua Blumenfeld, Rebekah Blumenfeld, Daniel Fogliani, Steven Fogliani, Max Bogost, Jacob Bogost and Elliana Bogost; his great grandchild Ariella Sherman; and his caregivers, Mallory, Willma, Salomey and Mark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
