He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Johnson and Kathryn Johnson Sr. (Linden); and his brothers-in-law, Albert "Ab" Nicholas and Russell Leitz Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marie DesMarais; his children, Silas "John" Johnson III (Judy) of Punta Gorda, FL, Jeannine Daniel (Steve) of Apache Junction, AZ and Ruth Ann Duval of Madison; his grandson Steve Duval (Karen) of Buffalo, NY; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Rufus Duval; his siblings, Nancy Nicholas and David Johnson (Mary "Mel"); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Lietz, Cyril "Mick" Desmarais (Kathy) and Stephen Desmarais (Cathy); and his friend Lowell Bakken. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
