She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Henthorne and Norma Henthorne (York); her husband James Edward Ryan; her siblings, Myron "Bub" Henthorne, Bonnie Zepke (Chuck), Patty Lean (Ivan) and Beverly Christianson (Melvin); her brothers-in-law, Bob Soule and Lyle Baez; her nephews, David McClellan, Tom Lean and Michael Busch; and also Christine Woodford.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Ryan and Patrick Ryan; her grandson James; and her siblings, Jerry Henthorne (Joanne), Marilyn Soule, Carla Baez and Dolores Ingle (Barry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Stoughton (206 W Prospect St, Stoughton, WI 53589). Shirley beat cancer twice, and although Alzheimer's took away her memories, everyone who knew Mom will remember her as a kind and loving person who was also very strong and fought and advocated for those she loved.
