She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W Meyer and Mernelda L Meyer (Philumalee); her husband Greg Strain; and her siblings, Donna Whitcher, Victoria Grindstaff, Dianne Meyer (Tiny), Mernelda Koehler (Char) and Rod Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Erica Kersten (Tom) and Shawn Strain (Shelly); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Charlotte, Ava Kersten, Johnathon and Gracie Strain; and her siblings, Bob Meyer (Linda), Ada Rose and Glenann Yahnke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
