He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Planton and Christine Planton (Turk); his sister Christine Heibing (Henry); and his great grandchild Patrick Joseph Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Sullivan; his children, Paul (Kim), Patrick (Laura), Peter (Sara), Peggy Arnold (Mike) and Penny Muldowney (Chris); his grandchildren, Matthew Planton (Holly Allo), Daniel Planton (Kelly), Christopher Planton, Meredith Spencer (Sam), Jacob Planton, Liz Frias (Bradley), Kate Schroeder (Luke), Allison Planton, Craig Planton (Emily), Hailey Planton, Brian Arnold (Gina), Bridget Markel (Tyler), Nathan Muldowney, Marcus Muldowney, Lydia Muldowney and Natalie Muldowney; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Eliot Planton, Everleigh Spencer, Alvaro, Isabel Frias, Rownan, Briar, Greer and Marek Planton; and his nieces, Nancy Lee (Rick) and Judy Daw (Louis).
