He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his sons, Nicholas Thompson (Stacy) and Erik Thompson (Rachel); his stepson Heath Bristol (Amy); his grandchildren, Brannon Thompson (Ariel), Dalton Green, Marisa Thompson (Brandon Looman), Ethan Thompson, Aidan Thompson, Karah Thompson (Chris Burkhaner), Ian Thompson, Garrett Bristol, Haley Bristol, Brooklyn Bristol and Khloe Bristol; his great grandchildren, Hazel Looman, Kaiser Thompson, Willow Looman, Becket Thompson and Saylor Thompson; his siblings, Kathi Travis (Bob), Mark Thompson (Trish), Paula Enger (Dennis), Gjeruld Thompson Jr. (Holly) and Erica Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Nadine Paulsrud (Ronald) and Erick Dickman (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
