He is survived by: his children, Derek Schaefer (Heather), Dennis Schaefer (Christie) and Melissa Schaefer; his brothers, Wendelin Schaefer (Jody), Charles Schaefer (Marianne) and Chad Schaefer (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Dryden, Alexa, Preston, Lauren, Adrias, Romel, Demarius and Josiah; and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Tatum and Kade.
