He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tormey and Clara Tormey (Schauf); his wife Ruth Schmelzer; his sons, Kevin and Joseph; and his daughter-in-law Kris Tormey.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Jean), Mark (Carol), Perry (Marilyn), Gail Maly (Dean) and Brian; his daughter-in-law Kay Tormey; and his brother Donald Tormey (Audrey). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
