He is survived by: his husband Patrick Brenz; his siblings, Ken Sommerfeldt (Kristi), Ray Sommerfeldt and Karen Sommerfeldt; his close friends, Fran Duran, Betty Brikowski and Ellen Fehring; and his caregiver Lauren.
