He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Spivey and Mardell Spivey; his daughter Madeline Jens; and his nephew Jeff. He is survived by: his children, Molly Spivey and Charles Spivey; his grandchildren, Samwise, Max and Pippin; and his sister Cheryl Nourie (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
