He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Coenen and Seraphine Coenen; his wife Christine Bailey; his son Timothy; and his siblings, Dorothy, Eleanor, Irene, Leonard and Thomas.
He is survived by: his sister Rita Mathiot; and his children, James (Barb Buechel), Michael, Patrick and Barbara Weum (Paul). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
