He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Strand and Irene Strand (Schuette); his brother-in-law Quincy Quandt; and his nephew Bronson La Follette. He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Strand, Geralyn Quandt, Tania Schwartz (Scott) and Vickie Gavin (Carl); his nephew Corry Strand; his nieces, Alisha and Danielle Gavin; his great-nephew Ethan Gavin; and his aunts, Marilyn Schuette and LaVon Strand.
