It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Robert Ahern (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katherine; his children, Joan, John (Kathy Kermott) and Lee (Colleen); his grandchildren, Robert Wolfgang Moore (Cicely), Ryan Moore (Kristen), Abigail, Eleanor and Shaughn; his great grandchildren, Garrett and Maverick Moore; his siblings, William (Myra), Richard (Cathy) and Sharon Schrantz; his parents, Garrett Patrick and Marion Dorothy Ahern (Doran); and his stepchildren, Princeton and Madison. He was also cherished by his family, colleagues, collaborators, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Pat's name to Agrace hospice in Madison, WI, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
