She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Cupp and Tressie E. Cupp (Rose); her husband Eldon; her daughter Donna Forsythe; her sons-in-law, Wayne Forsythe and David A. Brinkley; her brothers, Edgar, Bernard (Juanita) and James; and her in-laws, Harold Gard (Marguerite), Lois Lien, Evelyn Jones and Melvin Gard.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gard (Shari) and Diane Brinkley; her grandchildren, Megan Welsh (Kevin), Amanda Gessner (Matt) and Shawn Gard; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Owen Welsh, Jase, Sylvie and Sawyer Gessner; her stepgranddaughters, Jeanette, Pam, Kristine and Vicki Wolter; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Cupp, Diane Gard and David Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
