It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Boettcher McClurg (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Boettcher and Louise Boettcher (Geisler); her husband James McClurg of Wauwatosa; and her pet Gretchen. She is survived by: her children, David McClurg (Donna) of Georgetown, TX and Luanne Schumacher (Curt) of Marshall, WI; her grandchildren, Brittany McCready (Bo), Brianna Lathi, Garrett McClurg, Amanda Strawbridge (Jesse), Jacob, John Hofmeister and Seth Schumacher; and her great grandchildren, Maisie and Willow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to ELCA World Hunger and Wartburg Seminary.
