She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Kirkpatrick and Laurella Kirkpatrick (Gendrich); her husband Richard James Burwitz; her siblings, LaVerne Nikolaus (Johnny), Mona Schroeder (Kenneth), Donald Kirkpatrick (Rosemary), DeWayne Kirkpatrick (Aileen), Richard Kirkpatrick, Lorraine Kirkpatrick and Douglas Kirkpatrick (Lois); and her son-in-law Brian Buschman.
She is survived by: her children, Renada Burwitz-Buschman, Rodney James Burwitz and Richard Lee Burwitz; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rudd (Jason), Ricky Henry Burwitz (Karen) and Karolyn Retzlaff (Al); her great grandchildren, Reese, Taylor Rudd, Rylan, Branson, Sylis Burwitz, Hazel and Lainey Retzlaff; and her sister-in-law Connie Kirkpatrick. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (7302 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53717).
