It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michele M. Nelson (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away at the age of 66, on January 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shields and Lucille Shields; and her sister Vickie Shields. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Nelson; her daughters, Stacey and Chelsea Nelson; and her brothers, Rick Shields (Valerie) and Michael Shields (Brenda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 7591 (301 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53716).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, we ask you to consider donating to the Gilda's Club of Madison or the UW Carbone Cancer Center, both of which helped Michele during her last few years.
