It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Schroeder of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wesley and Jean Marie Eastman (Larson). She is survived by: her husband John Michael Schroeder; her children, Julia Fischer (Michael), James Orth (Bridget) and Andrew Orth (Katia); her stepdaughters, Anne Walbrun (John) and Wendy Braun (Ronald); her grandchildren, Adam, Ryan King, Francie, Winnie, Burke Orth, Helena, Hazel, Louisa Orth, Elle, Katie Walbrun, Jake Braun (Jackie), Abby Braun, Geoffrey, Amanda and Lucas Fischer; and her siblings, Joan Olson (Howard), Carolyn (Edquist) and James Eastman (Bonnie). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials can be sent to the University of Wisconsin Foundation for credit to the Alzheimer's Research Center or to the charity of one's choice.
