With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Marty (Madison, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clark Nelson and Leona Nelson; her children, Katharine, Gail (Dave), Alan (Beverly), Judy (Kent) and Jeff; and her siblings, Jim (Jan), Tom and Laurel (Hank). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
