Mary Lou Heiar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, at the age of 94, Mary Lou Heiar of Madison, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bodendein and Florence Bodendein (Faga); her husband Don; her sons, Steve Heiar and Russell Heiar; and her siblings, Lyle, Gordon, Robert Bodendein, Victoria Hanko, Betty Grusendorf, Cleota Good and Judith Churchill.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Heiar (Anna), Kathryn Williams (Mike), Glenn Heiar (Kathy) and Monsignor Donald J. Heiar; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Heiar; her grandchildren, Ryan, Lucas, Lisa, Ross, Casey, Abby and Maggie; and her sister Joan Knuth. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering for RSVP, driving people to their appointments.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cathedral of St. Bernard Parish Center, Capital Campaign.
