She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Dietz and Mary Lou Dietz (Ashbrook); her husband Larry Kaukl; her siblings, Joy Taylor, Walter and Eric Dietz; her nephew Brian Slavenas; and her great-niece Dezi Dietz.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Kaukl and Karen Witt; her grandchildren, Tim (Molly), Parker, Blake and Clark; her sister Rosemarie Slavenas; and her brother-in-law Leonard Kaukl (Jill). She is also survived by niece, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, or Monona United Methodist Church.
