It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariana Cogswell Weinhold in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cogswell and Marjorie Cogswell (Means); and her sisters, Lorna (Mason) of Castro Valley, CA and Martha (Auld) of Tiburon, CA.. She is survived by: her spouse Fulbright Student Frank Weinhold; her brother John Cogswell (Frank) of Saratoga, WY; her children, Diana of London, UK and Craig; her daughter-in-law Alenka (Halova); and her grandchildren, Lukas and Simone Weinhold of Madison, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Memorials in her name can be offered to Wisconsin Natural Resources Foundation endowment for Louis' Bluff, or other organizations mentioned above.
