It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Ellen (McDowell) Shumate (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Shumate; and her parents, Lena McDowell (Miller) and Clifford McDowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Andra Shumate-Biebl (Jim Biebl) of Omaha, Neb., Annette Demro (Jim Rotzoll) of Woodman, Wis, Anita Shumate of Middleton and Alicia Shumate of Madison; her grandchildren, Jessica Demro (Brent Roos), Garret Biebl (Heather) and Aja Shumate-Brazzel; and her great grandchildren, Onslo and Wilhelmina Biebl.
