He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sorenson and Emma Sorenson (Braaten); his sisters, Irene (Atteridge) and Caryl (Rihn); and his wife Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his stepmother Mabel (Erickson); his children, Kristine Saeger (Mark), Bert Sorenson (Janny) and David Sorenson (Pat); and his grandchildren, Karen Malone (Saeger), Stephanie Osborn (Saeger), Adam Sorenson (Melanie), Ashley Deforest (Dustin), Katlyn Farnum (Ryan), Eric Sorenson (Michelle), Grant Sorenson (Kim), Anne Hainline (Andy) and Thomas Sorenson. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
