He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lemens and Evelyn Krueger (Hurley); his son Alvin Lemens (Marilyn Franke-Lemens); his daughter-in-law Robin Brewer; his grandson Anthony Lemens; his brothers, Carlton Lemens, Lyle Lemens, Orville Lemens and Wayne Lemens; his brother-in-law Morris Fagg; and his stepfather Howard Krueger.
He is survived by: his former wife Celia Wendricks; his wife Marilyn Franke; his children, Wayne Lemens (Maureen) of Rochester, MN, Paul Lemens (Mary Lou) of Sarona, Susan Lemens of Madison, Teresa Stanek (Matthew) of Hillsboro, Thomas Lemens (Amy) of Madison and James Lemens (Katrina) of Monona; and his siblings, Myron Lemens (Sharon), Patricia Fagg and Lynn Challe (Kevin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
