He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Midthun and Marie Midthun (Aers); his siblings, Betty Gulseth (LaVerne), JoAnn Midthun, Linda Bongard (Richard), John Midthun, Theodore Midthun and Thomas Midthun; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Petersen (John), Phyllis Ulrich (Paul), Janet Christen, Robert Lansing, Kenneth Bryant (Beverly) and Robert Wampfler.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Midthun (Bryant); his children, Steven Midthun (Kris) and Paula Reis (Nathan); his grandchildren, Abigail Reis and Nolan Reis; his sisters, Mary Lou Lund and Gloria Horstmann (Henry); and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Midthun, Shirley Midthun, Lucille Lansing, Mary Wampfler and Palmer Christen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
