He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McConnell and Olive McConnell (Emery); and his siblings, Ruth Moore, Ralph McConnell, Judith Goodnature and Barbara McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Nieta McConnell; his children, Timothy McConnell and Marissa McConnell; his stepdaughters, Tammy Bingham (Vance) and Penny Heimann (Edward); and his sister Donna Hall. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
