She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Thornton and Blanche Zellmer; her sister Patricia Niebuhr; and her niece Deborah A. Niebuhr. She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Elizabeth Thomas and James Thomas (Cynthia Wood); her grandson William Thomas; and her nephew David "Chip" Niebuhr (Rita). She is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
