He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Thecla; his former wife Joanne; his brother Angelo "José" Loyo; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy, Margaret and Bob.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, James (Ann), Kristin (Matt), Daniel (Traci), Andrew (Shannon) and Marisa (Andrew); his grandchildren, Ashley (Logan), Jacob, Beckett and Maxton; his great grandchild Rohan; and his cousin Barbara. He is also survived by his family and friends.
