He was predeceased by: his parents, William Corry and Cecilia Corry; his sister Mary Jane Corry; and his wife Barbara Weston Corry. He is survived by: his children, Barbaras (Ellen Corry), Laura Burbaugh (Todd Miller), Jennifer Corry, Andrew Caddock (Jenny Stampe), Emily Schwenker (Tim) and Christopher Caddock (Kimberly Galarza).
After a 3-month stint training one of the first groups of Peace Corps volunteers headed to Kenya, he became interested in the country himself and accepted a position with the Ford Foundation in Nairobi.
