He is survived by: his wife Connie Newlin; his daughters, Nancy Hopwood and Lisa Broos Jones; his grandchildren, Joelle Kapala (Joey), Ben Hopwood (Chelsea Cather), Rachel Hopwood (Michael Bianchi), Brian Broos (Hannah Bombeck) and Jonah Broos; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Jaiden Kapala; and his cousin Rosemary Lyle (Calvin).
