It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan R. Gugel of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Strang and Ruth Strang (Heydon); her husband George "Barney" Gugel Sr.; her stepsons, Carl Gugel and George Gugel Jr.; and her sister Joyce Strang.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Deborah Gugel (Brian Templeton) and Denise Stieve (Hal).
