He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McLaughlin and Corinna McLaughlin (Parker); his siblings, Ralph McLaughlin and Margaret Nielsen; his nephew Chris Nielsen; and his son-in-law Dennis Wegner.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Bell; his daughter Gail Ray; his grandchildren, Alex (Elizabeth) and Diane; his daughter Amy Ford (Jay); his grandchildren, Elyse, Meghan and William; his daughter Meg Mattison; his grandchildren, Corinna, Sarah, Eric, Laura, Abbie, Rebecca, Emelia, Hannah and Jennie; his daughter Janet McLaughlin; his sister-in-law Barbara McLeod (Paul); his nephew Jim Wilson (Maureen); and his nieces, Leanne Nielsen, Karen Howard (Bob) and Katherine Schultz (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Untied Methodist Church (3910 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53705). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (3910 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Bethany Untied Methodist Church (3910 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53705).
