With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Brookens (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brookens and Fredricka Brookens (Dentler); his son Steven Brookens; and his son-in-law Victor Dove. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Brookens; his children, Sharon Dove, Terry Brookens (Lori) of Edgerton and Tracy Brookens (Tina) of Germantown; his sister-in-law Candy Olson; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan, Cheyenne, Lindsay, Nicholas, Rachel, Anna, Alec, Katie, Allison, Jessica, Chad and Hunter. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 2 bonus great-grandchildren.
