She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rasmussen and Blanche Rasmussen (Funk); her husband Merwyn Sorensen; her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, Gordon, Eugene, Marian and Eleanor.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Mardie Sorensen; her grandchildren, Shelley Gifford (Scott), Jaime Phillips (Lisa), Samantha Sorensen, Scott Sorensen, Kelley Nicholson (Ryan) and Katey Martin; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Gifford and Jase Nicholson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cotter Funeral Home (860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, WI 54115). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delta Kappa Gamma, Zeta Chapter.
